The Irish Society of Comparative Law Conference will be held this year on 29-30 April at the School of Law of University College Dublin:

An introductory keynote address by Dr Eric Descheemaeker, University of Edinburgh, on "The Dangers of Mixing it Up - Some Remarks on Defamation and Truth in Civilan, Common Lawand Mixed Jurisdictions" (Friday 29th, 5-6.30pm)

A closure keynote address by Professor Patrick Glenn, McGill University, Montreal, Canada on "Comparative Law and the Multi-Valued Turn - An Attempt to Relate Comparative Law Goals to the Emergence of New Forms of Multivalent Logic, as Means of Conciliation of Difference" (Saturday 30th, 5.10 -6.30pm). -

Parallel sessions throughout Saturday 30th, from 9am to 4.50pm.
